Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 11 September 2024: The Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) and the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture (MEWA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into the environment, water, and agriculture sectors.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdullhameed Abdullah Aleliwi, General Director of the General Directorate of Information Technology and Digital Transformation at MEWA, and Mr. Abdullah Aljawini, Chief Investment & Partnership Officer at SCAI, during the third edition of the Global AI Summit.

This strategic collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of AI technologies, paving the way for innovative solutions in managing environmental, water, and agricultural challenges. The partnership will promote the exchange of expertise and data, fostering a knowledge-sharing ecosystem that benefits both organizations.
